As the sun beamed through the open doors and windows at Shortts it felt like Spring had sprung at last as we opened on St James's Street for our second Saturday of retail, music and hanging out all rolled up into one single pop up.
Affy gave us the musical backdrop we needed (plenty of classic and moden day disco with that Roisin Murphy track sounding mint next to DC La Rue - cheers matey)
Our friendly African Food Vendor delivered the tasties once again in fine style with Mick and The Crew on the bar keeping everyone served and happy throughout. Certainly a team effort with everyone playing equally important parts to create the overall experience.
Next Saturday Lucille and I will be back again plus we have Jay (Ex Casablanca's Resident) with us providing the music (latin and funk) alongside the food and community spirit here on The Upper Eastern Quarter of St James's Street that's now firmly returning after the winter hibination period .
Here are a few pics of our wonderful friends and customers from this week whom without we wouldn't be doing what we do and enjoying it so much even after only two weeks.
Finally a shout to Kerry and Justin who came all the way from Brum to hangout. Lovely to meet you in person and thank you for coming to see us all down here by the seaside.
